    Asharqia Chamber presents you with its best regards, and informs you that it has received the letter of the Council of Saudi Chambers No. (42103859) dated (10/8/1442) with reference to the letter of the Communications and Information Technology Commission No. (4586/1442 / NM), Regarding what the Communications and Information Technology Commission has monitored during its monitoring work on the telecommunications sector regarding the increasing prevalence of the use of informal mobile phone signal booster devices, which cause damage to telecommunications networks by causing harmful interference to the frequencies of licensed operators, affecting the quality of telecommunications service provided to users The authority wishes to inform that the import of mobile phone signal reinforcement devices conforming to the approved technical specifications of the authority is limited to mobile telecommunications service providers licensed by the authority, and importing them in an irregular manner is in violation of the communications system issued by Royal Decree No. (M / 12) dated (12/3 /1422), which was the last of its amendments by Royal Decree No. (M / 15) dated (2/22/1442).


    Accordingly, the Council hopes that commercial establishments and suppliers of communications and information technology devices will ensure that the import, sale, or advertisement of signal booster devices is not lawful for other than service providers licensed by the Authority.​
